Color Bath
A room for Feelings

What if there was a warm and inviting room for you to spend your time, be present, and just feel and embrace your emotions? Or a space that would help you get into the right mood?

Due to the overflow of information, lack of time, and millions of distractions that shift focus from us, we tend to forget, acknowledge or even express our feelings. What if we find ourselves in a sad and melancholy mood, but there is no appropriate place to express these emotions? We have established and designed rooms and spaces for eating, studying, and working, but there is no room for just being with ourselves and feeling our feelings. This is particularly pertinent, given the increase of mental health issues highlighted through media in recent times.

Color bath is an essential tool to help not only regulate and stimulate your moods but also take care of your mental health as a whole. Visiting a color bath with the stimulation of colors and sounds can help you improve your mental health and wellness and positively enhance your daily life. The color bath allows you time to reconnect, become present, and feel yourself. It can also be used to calm down and soothe stressful times. For example, blue colour can calm us down and orange can make us feel more happy and energised. Being surrounded in a space of stimulation of colors and sounds can create a liberation which can create a “Rausch” moment. The experience is available in different places of our everyday life: In universities, hospitals, schools, and offices.

“Chromotherapy is a method of treatment that uses the visible spectrum (colors) of electromagnetic radiation to cure diseases. It is a centuries-old concept used successfully over the years to cure various diseases. We have undertaken a critical analysis of chromotherapy and documented its scientific evolution to date. A few researchers have tried to discover the underlying scientific principles, but without quantitative study. Sufficient published material can be found about the subject that provides a complete system of treatment focused on the treatment methodologies and healing characteristics of colors. A number of studies have elaborated the relationship between the human body and colors. We also show the possibility of carrying out diverse research into chromotherapy that is pertinent to deciphering the quantum mechanical dipole moment of water molecules. The quantum mechanical dipole moment as a result of the absorption of different colors, we conjecture, produces charge quantization phenomena. This review illustrates that the development of science in the field of electromagnetic radiation/energy can be very helpful in discovering new dimensions of this old theory.”  (Source link)
